If I can plug my friends work, Under the Veil is a fantastic piece of work. Will's been working on it for a long time and it's a classic investigative adventure.

I can see building two structures right off - one for the storefront, and one for the pubs and inns structure that I think this will be perfect for. Excellent.

A SW or 4E version of it is still under discussion.

If 4e is possible via the GSL, then I would love to see some support for it, but I am sure I am not the only one and that you guys realize that.

Pathfinder, Not a single group around here plays, so I'd have to convert back to use this.

I think they meant that the 3.5 version is the standard and that there might be conversions to 4e or SW (and Pathfinder was requested).

Here's a vote for a Savage Worlds conversion - were playing the SW version of DF and it is a real help as GM to have the adventure already set-up. There's plenty of d20 adventures out there that I can convert, but ready made SW adventures are much harder to come by.

Have you looked at Pathfinder? Conversion mostly amounts to changing the label from d20 to Pathfinder. Other changes are very minor, and deal much more with PCs than NPCs (some skills, class abilities, and reworking a few spells). Even Pathfinder (the periodical version) has stats for 3.5 - both stats can be contained, unlike 4.0 - which expressly forbids multiple compatibility. (This, more than any other reason, is why I will never purchase 4.0 - the change from the open and inviting OGL to the piece of garbage that is the GSL pissed me off that much.)

Though I really do recommend getting Pathfinder, at least the free PDF version. What they did with Sorcerers actually made them worth playing. Think of it as a big ol' set of house rules.

Good things for Sorcerers you say? I love the way way they are SUPPOSED to work in 3.5, but actually playing one was always difficult. Will have to go take a look...

I'd go so far as to say great things for Sorcerers.

They are given Bloodline powers as well as spells, Bonus feats, spells, and a little something else. Bloodlines include Aberrant, Abyssal, Arcane, Celestial, Destined, Draconic, Elemental, Fey, Infernal, and Undead. Each gains distinctly different abilities.

All sorcerers gain Eschew Materials at 1st level. The bonus spells are on top of what they choose to learn, and cannot later be swapped out. Overall, the Sorcerer has become a little more powerful and a lot more flavorful and flexible.

Most classes have gotten a bit of a power boost, but Sorcerer is the one that really stands out. I actually have players who want to play one.

You can get the Beta version of the rules Here as a free download, but the print version has sold out. (I picked up two copies, plus a couple for some of my players, when I went to Gen Con. My players also very much like the changes to both Sorcerer and Wizard.)

Its nice. I like the more generic nature of it. I was hoping it wouldn't be too specific. Its nothing jawdropping but it'll still look sweet on the table.

If I had not switched to 4e I would have switched to Pathfinder. It is an improvement over 3.5, but 4e seems to suit our group rather well.

In my D&D campaign people were taking Bard more than Sorcerer. (Contrary to popular opinion Bards do not suck! They are however better 5th characters than any of the first 4. (Their ability to boost the party works better the larger the party is. )

We noticed that exact thing.... If the Bard can spend all it's efforts boosting the other charactes/acting as an emergency backup for any character that went down, they worked quite well.

Just got this and noticed something, the doors are not lined up right; meaning the door handles are on different sides so it looks funny if you make the doors open able. Just a heads up for you all, I'll just PS mine to look right, but for other you might want to make a patch.

I hadn't noticed that...I guess it's a good thing that I decided to not go with the doors opening.
