Can't praise enough the quality of the downloadable building instructions - very detailed - and the dual full 3D + 2.5D options.

I'm hoping the 3-D & 2.5-D option is a key selling point for those who might not normally invest in building the terrain. We just need to get them hooked on a first build

Me want ! Monday'll be mine - one month is not too much to put in your store? If all we buy here - to give u more money - then maybe paizo won't find the deal good... But if we all buy it monday there then u'll be the one "loosing" money... Or maybe that deal is not as when u had your products in rpgnow

Buy it there, here, whenever and however you like (we won't take offense ). Pathfinder has a substantially larger audience than we do, so releasing it there first is a licensing consequence we're willing to accept

Oh and I fixed the instructions download link. The automatic formatting on the forum inserted the wrong code.

I'll for sure buy it and build an encounter around it for my 4e campaign, it looks gorgeous. I will probably wait until I can get it here at WWG though.

What about the universal adapter kit you mentioned before? Will that be part of the WWG store release or a free add-on or a paid add-on?

This looks really nice Denny. Well done, give yourself a pat on the back.

Getting the stock 3-D build shipped along with a 2.5-D option is a fairly huge effort for us within extremely tight deadlines. Because of that we have no real time to include extraneous modular elements within the core release.

The core sets are based around predefined cartography from within specific Pathfinder adventures. As such they have limited modularity. While you can still build a fairly unique layout with the core set, these add-on's will take it one step further. We'll be releasing that sometime after the second official Pathfinder release (or at least that's the plan). Basically it will add additional corridors types (in both upper and lower crypt styles) and as of yet undefined extras.

Modularity add-on's will be "paid" items simply because they still require a lot of texture editing and time to make work within a more generic modular format. The price point will be reduced but we are not certain where that price will sit just yet (depends on how involved these things become).

Wow, Denny. This looks great. And I have to congratulate you on the instructions. Those are excellent. Beautifully illustrated and very clear directions. Just looking at the instructions shows how much work you guys have put into this set.

REally i hope this 1º set will be a total succes!...Pathfinder should be proud to get this in his shop....And of course,im support this amazing work purchase it soon...congratulation for the release.Truly is wonderfull, i cant stop to look it.....

Perfect for an add-on for a published event/encounter; not too complex to build but has enough substance and eye candy to bling the table.

Will aim to grab it asap with the knowledge that the extra module release with bolster this set to a polished finished.

Will be getting it here as always, somehow easier (I know, I know - it's just as easy over at Paizo).

Very nice set indeed. The detail is great. I will wait until at least three parts or more of this series are complete before deciding if I'll make the jump to this kind of terrain.

Hmmmm, the real question is 'What does Moosey think of these developments?'

I will be buying this from Piazo - proving WW terrain to be a good investment for Paizo seems like a good idea. Making this a 2.5 D compatible set was also a good idea - makes it an easy entry point for people new to the hobby.

I will also be picking up the adventure, Paizo has been producing some very solid products, and I have no reason to suspect that this might be otherwise. (Actually, I think that Paizo has been doing an even better job with Pathfinder than they were with Dungeon - more willing to push things, just a bit. )

*EDIT* The odd thing is that the first scenario that comes to my mind for using this terrain is not Pathfinder, but for my Scooby Punk game. (Sort of like steampunk, but the PCs have this weird 'Looks like a mystery gang. Let's solve it!' vibe going on. No talking dog companion though, thankfully.)

Absolutely stunning. I will be buying this on Monday, and using it in my 4e campaign. Nice job, Denny (and all of you at WWG). As always, your dedication to quality really shows.

Wish we had this sort of thing when the wife and I played the original D&D stuff. How far it has come since we had a sheet of graph paper and pencils. Wonderful stuff. Just need a time machine, so you can go back and get this out in 1973ish.

Hmmm. Yes, that would be a problem. My first home computer was a Radio Shack Color Computer 2 with a Radio Shack/Canon color ink jet of some ancient sort that leaked ink internally from foil packets. Also had a small printer with 4 little ball point pens, but that didnt last very long at all. So, Denny needs to take a decent printer with him and introduce that as well, I guess. Why shouldnt he be credited for the earlier creation of modern technology?

Question:
on page 5 of the superb instructions I am not sure what the pictures try to show.
There is a picture with a fat green (CUT 3x). Here it looks like that the ruler is ~1mm inside of the green line, cutting INSIDE of the green line.

Below this picture is sideview where it looks like exact like mentioned above (ruler inside green line) BUT here you cut OUTSIDE the green line.

So, considered the green line is 1 inch thick (yes, I know it is not but it is easier to explain): do you cut
) inside the green line, so you cut a little of the white space away too (like shown on the cut 3x picture)
or
) exact at the inside of the green line so you do not cut in the white space
or
) exact in the middle of the green line
or
) exact on the outside of the green line so your finished tile has a green border (like shown in the sideview)
?

By the way...I would love this setting wouldn't it be for this many bended walls. This seems too hard for me as beginner and the 2.5D option comes not even close to the 3D option and as I understood you can not mount the walls later on it since the tabs have to go under the floor....but yes, I understand: thats the map from Pathfinder.
