Just so there's no confusion, its actually page #6 of the manual (That's page 12 if you're going by the PDF page count) under the heading "Cutting out Individual Rooms".

Essentially, you want to cut directly center of the line (not to the inside or outside). It's ok if you stray a bit to either side though, so don't panic! Just do your best to keep it on the green line.

Looks fantastic, but somehow I'm concerned with re-usability. Well, if I'm going to DM the Legacy of Fire AP, I'll buy it.

A Question concerning Pathfinder and Golarion (the Pathfinder world):
Will you make buildings specifically for Pathfinder? Somehow I find this much more interesting.
Or maybe there could be upgrade kits for existing sets, providing Pathfinder-specific imagery, e.g. making the Cathedrae Noctis set compatible with certain PF deities (although of course only some deities would have such a kind of temple ).
A "Shrine-Set" would be really useful, with props to build shrines for the different PF-Deities, giving them the atmosphere of the respective deities (little shrine buildings would also be nice, but just the props to put on battlemaps, would be fantastic.) Maybe something like pubs&inns with lots of deity-specific artwork & props.
Shrines/temples appear in almost every adventure and this would provide great modularity and re-usability. I can also imagine that people would buy this, since it is world-specific, but not tied to a certain adventure path.
What do the others think?

We like to keep requests archived in wish list format so that we can mine them for ideas and or push things in popular directions.

In answer to your questions; we are interested in doing all of the above if time, interest and support all line up Its a bit early to speculate on where things might ultimately lead but we would be tickled pink if the relationship generated the kind of interest that would keep things expanding. Right now our core focus is on an initial blast of adventure path-centric releases but we would love to fan out if the opportunity presents itself.

I just got "Song of Gold and Darkness" which is the Dungeon rules expansion for Song of Blades and Heroes. It seems to me that this set would be perfect for their method of dungeon creation, because of the place and play design. Now, I'm even more jazzed about this release.

I truely believe that the 2.5D quick build option was a wise decision.

Very nice set. I'm two rooms into the build, and I'm abandoning my previous dreams of a huge mini-chunk collection, in favor of lots of 'place-as-you play rooms, a la Pathfinder. The amount of time it takes to build two or three minichunk walls seems much better spent on a full room in this set.

The quality of the textures on this set is simply shocking. If Paizo's adventures live up to the quality of your terrain, this will be a very memorable Adventure Path.

Wow, thanks for the compliments! It was a passion driven thing for everyone who had a hand in it (Paul, Matt, Bob and myself). We pushed as hard as we possibly could to attain an above the bar quality level, all in the hopes that we'd finally break through to a larger audience.

I can't say due to some uncertainty with release dates on the adventure path side but it is on the fast track. We're pushing pretty hard right now and getting nearer the finish line (on geometry and texturing).

Cool - so are these for preexisting adventures or ones that are being released at about the same time?

As you can tell I am more of a minis guy now, needless to say that these sets are the bees knees.

This is all part of their "in-production" adventure path for Legacy of Fire: http://paizo.com/pathfinder/adventurePath/legacyOfFire . We've been privy to cartography specifics in everything up to #22 "The End of Eternity". Production is ongoing with everything beyond that. The release dates on that page loosely reflect when the terrain will show up as well.

Downloaded the set, preordered the book (actually, I did this a few days ago). Looks good.

Heh, I just noticed my name on the top and bottom of each page. Seems like they are taking steps to make sure that the PDFs that they carry are secured.

Nice clear instructions, not too many fiddly bits, use of the 'footprint' layout. All in all a nice introduction.

I got the set the day it was released and have been looking it over ever since. Actually did a test bash of one wall as I'm looking at it for creating a dungeon set with different textures and 1 inch tall walls so that it's easier to move figures in tight halls.

Anyway, I do like the textures and design of the set and I especially like that Paizo security scheme for the PDFs! Not sure what the work effort would be to do the same with the WorldWorks store Denny, but it would be easier to track the pirates if there was a way to have each PDF add that info prior to download!

My Pathfinder rules download also has that in it!

Mainly though, just wanted to say great looking set Denny, can't wait for each release in the series, specially if it continues with the place-as-you-play approach!

Since Pathfinder is their flagship RPG so to speak, they've been taking this approach on most of their PDF products for Pathfinder.

My tester materials have the same method of protection.

I just got the latest Paizo Newsletter and this set was in there. Any word yet on the success level of the first week or two compared to past releases?

We won't have an answer there until later in the week. Since the newsletter at Paizo lagged a bit behind the actual release, sales aren't truly representative yet. I kinda have a feeling that we won't have REALLY good data until we release the second set and have a month gestation.

I was thinking wait to purchase it direct from your store...but may be is better if i take it from Paizo in order to rise the sales level of the set...im wrong?

At this point I suspect that getting Paizo happy with WW is a higher priority. Getting it sooner is good, too.

We want Paizo to continue collaboration with World Works - Denny and Co. are doing their bit by making great looking terrain, so we should show support with our wallets.

Also, the adventure that this set is tied to hasn't even been released yet. They were delayed and - as I understand it - are still on a boat somewhere between China and Seattle. The adventure isn't expected to ship to customers until this week, or perhaps next.

Yeah, that's the big X-factor for us. We have no idea what kind of impact the module release will ultimately have. I'm waiting to see what the cumulative result of releasing 3 terrain sets in the Pathfinder setting will be. Much of this has to do with convincing a new audience that building these things is actually worth their time, pretty easy and enjoyable

Well, I'm almost finished with this set, and I'm eagerly awaiting for some preview of the next!
And for the expanded modularity add-on too.

I've begun to build a few rooms and I hope that in the future the one designing the dungeon think about it twice if he nows that it will be made to build by you ... I see too much "corners" in it... not dificult but as I print it in normal paper and the paste it over a hard cardboard all the Zig-zag made it more dificult to do (I love straight rooms )
