I debated on whether to wait until you released it on Worldworks. I decided that supporting Paizo could only help you more than buying it here, and my impatience for owning this beautiful set won out. I bought it at Paizo the day it released and have been drooling over its exquistiveness ever since.

Don't let that stop you. I bought it for use as a Sith temple for a Star Wars RPG. Sure, it was designed to work with a Pathfinder module but it's not like you have to use it that way.

Wow. Great minds think alike. About 2 hours ago I dragged out my Star Wars Saga book to thumb through it and thought "I bet I can use that new WWG set for some kind of Sith nastiness".
I have 2 D&D games going now so it might be a while.

Seeing this set actually got me interested in Pathfinder...and potentially converting this adventure to 4E just for haha's...

I think i will just buy it because it is so addictively pretty....

Was sleeping, but wishing I could have been edging.

Razzin frazzin, grimpin grumpin....

Because I did not want a hole under Moloch I carefully cut out a circle of floor tile to cover it over.

I maneuvered it into place to check the fit.

Perfect!

I glued it down, then checked the fit of the figure....

Which completely covered the hole and its covering, meaning that I had just spent half an hour making a cover for something that could not be seen in any event....

Grumble, grumble, grumble....

On the good side of things, I picked up a package of Sharpies at Walmart in what they call Couleurs Café - which I would call earth tones.

No bleeding, and I was able to get a very good match for color when edging Room 1. I am pretty happy with the result.

The next step is the templates and assembly.

FWIW, I bought Undercrypt and Howl of the Carrion King from Paizo today on the same order, just trying to show some WWG love over there. When Garden of The Stone Speakers is available, I will be doing the same thing.

I saw in Paizo's weekly e-mail today that Ruined Undercrypt is the #7 top download for non-Paizo products in their online store.

Quick question:

Are the floor tiles in this set similar to those in other sets, i.e. 7"x7" or are they configured only to the shapes we see on the pictures?

The reason I ask is that I may not end up running the adventure, but the floors would be wonderful alternatives to DLinx / Chunky / Gothic floors, or even alternates for building floors such as those with Shellendrak / Cathedral etc...... but only if they are the regular 7x7 'square 'format.

I've checked it and the floors are made for the room...but you have them build as Lair (2.5D) so you can use it...but there's no single 7x7 floor title to use in other 7x7 sets...

Bayushi_shogo is correct. There are no strict 7"X7" floors as such due to the way this set goes together. That said, we do still have plans to release a conversion kit for the Undercrypt. This will expand the original in ways that are generally more layout flexible.

No timeline on that though, just depends when we can find a window.

Its a shame really... you have these superb set of textures there, but without allowing for generic builds. Hopefully, providing generic formats will be an option for the future, allowing us to use them in other designs...... (and also for the Garden Speakers set... again, another set of superb textures).

I really think that having as you have the geometry and the textures sometimes won't be at all as bad idea to get a pack of tiles compiling the new textures...so you can put let's say wildgroove in sheldekar and for example simple walls... I don't know if I've explained it clear but the idea is make packs of walls and floors 7x7 (as you can cut it if you need to do it for an aisle for example) to get used between sets...

Just my 2 cents

At the moment I am just assembling the 3D set. I really like it. So far it was quite simple (base plate, room 1, 4 and 5) and I hope it will get no more complex. The stairs of room1 have been a little bit more complex and I worked on it nearly 1h but the rest was no prob. For the ground plate and the room floors I used A4 self adhesive label sheets and this works fast.

I learned that in order to have a good optic extensive use of fell markers is mandatory. I guess the whole set is ready in a further 1-2 evenings work.

I am really looking forward to the next pathfinder set, and I am sure my players will love it.

Only wish would be to have more of the exciting graphical skins and patterns the uncercrypt offers for the floors and walls of a more generic dungeon.

We'll definitely work on that for you guys. Its something I really want to do to extend the versatility of these Pathfinder settings.

I am almost done re-texturing this as an Egytptian tomb, which means hopefully I will be able to start building in between packing for moving sometime in the next week. GO HORUS!

Don't forget to post pictures. I'd love to see the Egyptian version.

It looks like the Ruined Undercrypt is a persistent seller at Paizo. It has been sitting at #7 on the Pazo "Top Downloads from Other Companies" list for weeks and this week even climbed a notch to #6 - go Denny and the crew.

Let's hope that Garden of the Stone Speakers gives things an additional push. We're in the process of converting that set to the new TerrainLinX standard.
