Just starting out on this Paper modeling. I am an avid Mage Knight player and am looking forward to creating some new stuff for players. Found out about ya'll on e-bay no less.

Chunky Dungeons is great for MKD. Castle Works Unlimited is good for Mage Knight fortifications, Hinterlands is also great for Mage Knight. You could easily use the Hellworks for a Necropolis Sect, Seaworks: Atlantis for the Atlantis Guild. I would have included links but Denny mentioned the store was changing and I was not sure it the links are as well.

Actually any of the newer sets are 1.5" compatible. It was because of their 1.5" compatibility that got me hooked on World Works Games (WWG)

Dungeon Crawlers is a great site for us defunct Clix fans. We do other war games and RPG's as well.

There is quite a lot of campaigns, new rules, special tokens for the Mage Knight Games there.

$285.00 wow but this ought to last me a while. The transparencies are like $1.00 a piece. 4 ink cartridges and all the other stuff I should need. I am glad to see some other Clix fans out there. I Just finished the Bone bridge and it turned out pretty good for the 1st attempt at anything Oragamiish. I have purchased The Maiden and will be working on her for the next couple weeks probably. I looked through all the print sheets today and I am amazed that someone was able to spacially orient there minds to not only create a work of art but to break that art down into sections and the figure out how to make it out of paper. Truly a remarkable feat. Well got to go. Time to change out my 1st ink cartridge.
By the way my blues are not printing as vibrant as I would like. I have a HP 6310 all in one. All the other colors are coming out fine. Any pro tips on this would be great.

One thing you'll find here is that staff are pretty communicative (when we aren't swamped) and other regulars are extremely friendly/helpful. We're big on community at WWG and I like to think that makes a positive difference between us and larger publishers.

Anyway, enjoy and don't get too far ahead of yourself! The Maiden is an extremely satisfying build once done but its a pretty big effort as well. Pace yourself!

When you've done the Maiden you could get the Pirate kit bash set for it and build the opposition. The pirate sails look awesome. Look in the kitbash section of the main store

Denny I have some bad news. I cannot find the UHU glue 99589 in my area any where. I called the 800 number from the hyperlink site for UHU. I spoke with a very nice lady at the company. They are discontinuing the 99589 glue pen. They are "replacing" it with #99606. She is not sure if this is the same formula or not. She just said it had a wider applicator. She is sending me a sample of 99606 and she happened to have 2 99589's in her desk that she is sending me also. Like I said real nice lady. She is going to contact the company in Germany and try to find out if the water content formulas are the same.

Yes a lot of good info here. But Denny if you had to pick an alternative glue what would yours be. I.E. Brand name make and so on....

Denny I meant to ask this in my last post. When you speak of low water content glues what percentage of the formula are we talking about. I personaly have no idea how much water content is in a "wet" glue versus a drier glue. Help me out on this one.

I'm still experimenting with substitutes for the good old UHU Office Pen (many referenced in that thread). I was lucky enough to find some overstock at a local Staples which will keep me going for awhile. I don't know what the water to glue ratio is but I do know that you need to read labels and find glues specifically made for paper or paper crafts. When they say "non warping" or "low water content", you know you're on the right track.

Just to throw my two bits in, consider building your terrain in gridless format when possible instead of 1.5". Gridless gives it a better finshed look and you can still space all your props and such to accomidate for the larger bases; you also get the added benifit of being able to use it later for non click games as well. I originally built everything in 1" but have begun to use strickly gridless instead because it looks so much better for most settings (dungeons excluded, but then again you can use both grid sizes in the dungeon this way to break up the floor)
