Here's a freebie playset for Streets of Himmelveil. This is just a basic Photoshop, layered file containing (extremely down-sampled) tiles and a grid to experiment with layouts. You should be able to crack it open in GIMP as well.

Anyway, something to play with and to start early planning. Its a good planner to help you cater things to your available table dimensions:

New stuff is coming. Things have been restructured in the "What's Coming" area to accommodate new teasers and project updates in a more transparent way. When updates appear, you'll see them added to the first post. Not that it makes waiting any easier but at least you have a single point of reference on where the project is at from early production all the way through to post.

Don't get me wrong.... I appreciate any info you have.
It's just even for me (and I came late to this ballgame) this has been a long time coming. Add to that this set is moving up so slowly.

One of these days, you're going to have to put out.

At least the title isn't "Himmelveil - Duke Nuken's Return". We would surly know that it's pure gamer vapour.

I totally understand the frustration. You guys should know by now though that I'm pretty tenacious. Himmelveil will see the light of day come Hell or high water.

That street tile looks excellent Denny. Bodes well that this set will be right in line with the high standards and detail you guys put forth in WWG projects.

Thanks Floyd. Its great to be working on the set again, though I'm still spread a bit thin. I do have a longterm plan with Himmelveil that ties in deeply to a new path forward for WWG in general. Its pretty important to me that this gets out there sooner than later.

I have faith in the completion of *the set that will not be named.*

BTW, why is the logo on the pic called "Himmelviel"? Is it Himmelveil?

I believe the logo is correct. I remember there was talk - voice or forum chatter about it.... end result is both are correct but the logo is more correct.

Actually, the original logo has been revised in anticipation of 3 related releases in this line Give your browser a refresh.
