Now Available: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/in ... product=90 Current Status is: Designer(s): Product Description: CLASH OF STELLAR EMPIRES With the release of the first full race expansion to the Wormhole game setting, we bring two entirely different races into conflict with one another. The Verus Republic, a vast and sprawling nation with many different worlds, races and cultures has a long history of conflict. External foes both many and varied have assailed and been assaulted by the Republic, and internal conflicts with the Nomad Cotaries and various Pirate fleets have kept the legions hard at work. Nothing quite compares, though, to the sudden appearance of the displaced Sathrican Empire appearing on and within their borders, making claim to larger portions of their space in a bid to reestablish themselves. I always enjoyed the militaristic design of the Sulaco and I kind of wished it was shown in action rather than just sitting in orbit for the whole movie. I took the basis of the Sulaco (basically a flying gun) and used it as a base inspiration for many of the designs. The battleship and the cruiser have the most resemblance to the Sulaco where as the strike craft and carrier will look more akin to the ships in Homeworld. |

The one optional accessory that you probably couldn't build at half scale would be the turret (It is pretty small even at full scale). However there is a 2D turret painted on the hull anyways so it shouldn't matter too much. The only ship you might have trouble building at half scale would be the frigate, but there is a simplified version of the frigate that could probably be built at half scale without too much fuss (the advance frigate has much more complex geometry which is why were are going to offer a simple version as an alternative). |

Looking at that I have to say I like it. Looks like it could be a few box folds glued together, in a line with a few bits stuck on. That is a ship I would buy because its still easy to build (box folds are easy as punch) but it still gives it depth and me like. |
