Why the hold up with the expansion? Also, when is the Icarus Station going to be made available ... how is the progress in getting the kitbash section resurrected? I think I know the answers to all of that, but wanted to raise another voice in the cold expanse of Wormhole Space to let you know we spacers are still here and waiting

Denny said in a different thread that a couple of big (and apparently positive) things are coming in the next month or two, but was reserved with details... It seems that a mysterious partner wants to keep things hush-hush for now. I think the partner is either Dick Grayson or the Flying Squirrel, but evidence is sketchy... |

It is always dropped at the bottom of the priority list, which is a real shame. The intention to support Wormhole is there but not the resources obviously. That is why those players who develope kitbashes for it are so very important. Unfortunately their work is languishing as well. The guy in charge of it has an awful lot to do, lots of responsibilites and they all need his time and attention. WWG will get it done. I don't know if it will be in my lifetime ... ::just kidding:: Keep the faith. |

I've all but given up on Wormhole too. A lot of time and effort went into the development of the game but the follow up just isn't there. WWG has its reasons to be sure but one thing they could do is license it to a company that can do something with it. |

This is an example of a good game that just didnt get the support it needed. 2 or more years between releases is just unacceptable. not to mention if i recall correctly there were errors in the rulebook and reference cards that were never fixed. to me the great advantage of a digital meduim is the fixing of errors. my advice to the designers. fix the rulebook, and reference cards, release the verus fleet, and try to come out with a small expansion even just one or two ships every couple months (even every 6 months). it keeps interest going for the game. you cant just throw out a game like wormhole that demands variety and let it stagnate for 2 years. |

Klaxas, Valid concerns that echo discussions by WWG developers. As Bob has stated in other forum threads, you should be seeing some exciting things shortly. The Verus release should make all kinds of warm, fuzzy happiness. Ships for the casual builder, CHECK! Solid gameplay, story, and backdrop for the diehard Wormhole gamer, CHECK! Ongoing development and support, CHECK! No BS here. I really do think the Wormhole community is going to be very pleased with what is coming. |

I think it is kinda funny that I come back after several months and it still has yet to be released  I was really expecting to have a pleasant suprise here.
Is there a release date set yet or is this going to be like how starcraft 2 is, where it took 10 years for it to come out, or worse yet like Duke Nukem For Ever, which will never come out. I dont want to complain too much but it just seems like there has been no progress here. Or has there been some progress and I am just not seeing it? |
