User builds / kitbashes should be fine. Shouldn't really matter, if you do get it in the wrong place one of the mods will move it. I'm really interested to see what you've come up with!

I've trouble shooting things in my notebook long enough, finally cut templates last weekend. Looking forward to my quick small ships for pics and finishing with the large catamaran. I will be taking suggestions on sail variations and captains quarters for the big ships. Converting to airships is my last step. Qpony!! help! |

There were a few freelancers/part-timers working at various projects and due to their other commitments, they could not dedicate the required time to finish out these projects. To get us out of a perpetual tease state, we decided to pull all projects that had a low commitment threshold from their respective designers. They aren't off the books completely mind you (there's always a possibility that the original designer might find some time), they just aren't showing on the WIP meter unless they are a 100% sure thing. |

Been considering Kickstarting a couple oddball projects. The beauty of Kickstarter (or in my case Indiegogo) is that you can pitch wacky ideas with relativity low risk. I have loads and loads and loads of wacky ideas!

Truth be told, the WorksBooster program was essentially this but with some unique sprinkles on the side which made it our own. We've had to pull back our ambition there a bit but it will very probably see a rebirth at IndieGoGo. |

I'm personally not speaking to the Obsidian Gale as a Kickstarter since its not a project that I have a personal stake in. The real truth is that contrary to having "too many" projects the current market is forcing us to focus on a narrow set of projects which are reasonably low risk. Kickstarter/IndieGoGo are perfect candidates for that kind of thing. |
