While reading through the Instruction guide (you all did already download it didn't you?) It seems to me that a Dungeon Set would not (for the most part) need the LinX tabs. With the Center/Side/Corner posts inserted over the anchor points and the tabbed walls slotted everything will hold itself together. That, by itself would cut the tile design time down even more. Might be fun to retrofit some of the Gothic Realms and Castle Interiors and see what we see. ~F |

I do not encourage skipping the linx tabs. You need to keep in mind that the anchors have a very tiny glue area. With posts they would certainly hold the tiles in alignment left to themselves. But in actual play I would be afraid bumping would cause a lot of anchor tear off. Should you really want skip the linx tabs I would suggest you use removable tape or removable poster tack to hold the tiles to the table top. Clip-it walls you've already have built should be really easy to use with terrainlinx. The posts give a great point to clip to. |

Is Thoumonts going to work with the new Himmelveil Terralinx system or will it have to sit on top as a loose item. |

The outside tiles for Thoumonts are all 6x6. I don't see why this couldn't drop into a 2 tile by 2 tile spot? Seems to me it wouldn't even need a retro-fit so long as you use the "Grounds" tiles to surround the building. I'll take a closer look... I've been a bonehead before and maybe I'm seeing it wrong. *edit* Yep. I'm half a bonehead. The pdf page even says right on it - "Preview if the upcoming streets of HV model set" Looks like it's a dropin. No modification needed, just plant it on those four tiles and drop it into your HV landscape. WOOOOOOOT. I am now printing Thoumont's! I was waiting to see how much work would be needed to make fit and it looks like NONE! Denny and WWG team... you da MAN. |
