Great idea! Putting Matt on the Himmelveil project should guarantee a timely and excellent product. That seems to leave us with two possibilities: 1) Streets of Himmelveil 2 will actually be completed before SOH 1. or 2) Denny needs to put his running shoes on. I'd be happy with either. |

"these things fly out the door" That is exactly the kind of phrase I want to hear in relation to Himmelveil. Of course, now the bar's been raised: you really should take Mel's advice, and include automated cutting files (or at the very least compatibility with the same) in this line of products. Maybe you could even convince him, or HP, to help out on that part of the process. p.s. Don't take the time to respond to this post. You have more important things that you should be working on. |

So, will there be cross references between the sewers and the other two sets? (Manhole covers, ladders, storm drainss and the like....) And again with a question as to how three dimensional this set will be - I have found the elevated walkways very entertaining in the Gothic Realm sewers, not to mention being able to adapt them to other uses.... (The excellent aqueduct kitbash leaps to mind. )

Now to bring up brings up a related, but setting specific rather than material, question: Does Himmelveil have any 'lost' rivers, similar in nature to the Fleet (or 'Flete' if you go back a bit) River in London? Actually, I gather that London has a number of lost rivers, some quite literally lost - no one knows where there are anymore. This question is inspired by the excellent mystery 'The Water Room' by Christopher Fowler - part of the quirky 'Peculiar Crimes Unit' series. When reading Fowler I generally keep a pencil an paper handy - there is almost always something worth stealing for later use in a game. I knew about the Fleet already (and its relation to Fleet Street, of charity hospital and Sweeney Todd fame), but the book added a lot more detail to my rather amorphous 'hmm, they buried a river'.
