Actually, I can read that.... Good choice! [Insert obscure clues here.] I had to actively prevent myself from putting in some obscure clues... and bad puns.... The Auld Grump, the trick to reading it is distance. Pretty easy to read from further away, in case you want to obscure it more. |

Much more illegible now! I can only make it out because I already know what it says. I wasn't sure if you wanted it to be read or not, but adding a bit more blur kind of answers that question. And yeah, a vital part of the infrastructure for many cities, well into the 19th, and even 20th centuries. I am glad to see it getting the attention it deserves. The Auld Grump *EDIT* Feel free to delete this if you think it gives too much away, though I think I avoided doing so. |

LOL...I'm just being a touch evil. Honestly, if the gang figures it out, its not the end of the world. The set is very near to complete but it does need to trail release #1 & #2. Just having some fun. I'll deliver some goods in the near future ![]() |

The worst part about knowing is that I have a bunch of questions that I can't ask. Like: Will the [Noun] be flat, or three dimensional? More work for the 3D, but I have had decent results with [WW Set], it really helps the visual impact. Adds a layer of tactics in games like [Game] as well. Being able to use the [Noun] as [Different Noun]. And will there be [Plural Noun]? I always enjoyed watching the [Same Plural Noun] in [City], near the [City] [Building] [Noun]. And are [Plural Noun] going to be included? Or are these being covered by other [Fantasy City] sets? I can see them being in [Same Fantasy City] [Number], since they would not be unique to [Same Fantasy City] [Different Number]. And, as an unconnected question: Will [Fantasy City] have something akin to a [Noun]? More fitting for a [Genre] or [Different Genre] setting than a [Third Genre] game. But always interesting, [City] has a [Noun] that dates back to [Year], and the thing is [Size]! The Auld Grump, well, I know what I mean.... ![]() |

Heh, the big blur is the H and V of the Himmelveil sets, and the smaller blurbs read [REDACTED FOR REASONS OF NATIONAL SECURITY]. The Auld Grump, fun with brackets... |

I'm pretty sure I figured out what set 3 is. ![]() After reading some of the Auld Grumps cryptic comments and cross-checking the teasers approximate letter count, shape and size, I can say that this one looks more and more intriguing. Makes complete sense, considering where HV is located on the map. Are bridges going to be part of this (provided that the look will be 3D, hopefully)? I'd love to see some rather large ones, actually, rising high above the, um, [set title]. |

Ayuh, and for the city I want to use for a Steampunk Gargoyles setting they will be very, very useful. Actually, all three would be handy - all are integral to the city of Blythe (called Blight). 'Course, it could also use a bicycle railway, but I don't expect Denny to have one of those. ![]() The first time I used the city I was running a game of Vermin with a steampunk background. (Vermin is an old D20 game where the PCs are cockroaches, rats, toads, mice, squirrels, or pigeons....) Alas, Vermin is no longer available online, else I would provide a link. ![]() A whiles back, when I started statting out the Gargoyles campaign I realized that the city seemed strangely familiar - I had mostly forgotten the Vermin game, but still remembered the city with a fair amount of detail.... The Auld Grump, bicycle locomotives could reach 80 MPH in 1889. |

All three sets have me chaecking back at least once a day, to see if they have been released or if there is any new data. ![]() Soon I may start *twitch*ing again. ![]() The Auld Grump, it is the steampunkish nature of the teasers that is doing it, I fear. |
