Just got this model. WOW!!!!!!! What a beaut... Next couple of weeks will be rather interesting. Denny, I've been keeping up with this one since just before the launch. I noticed that the front rails were missing from the original release. I thought that you'd mentioned that you were updating the original file at RPGNow. Well, I downloaded it this morning from RPGNow it did not have the front rails. I downloaded the patch. Just wanted to pass that information along to you in case the intent was to upgrade the original file. BTW, for releases like this (so large) is it possible to make the file into 2 or 3 smaller files? I had to end up downloading it this morning because it was going to take 38 hours over my dial-up connection. |

My mistake. Indeed the rails are part of the front hull. I was looking for them as a separate pdf. Once again WOW!!! |

Oh yeah, the Maiden rocks. I'm running a pirate game and it has become the most used piece of cardstock scenery EVER! ![]() There should be more encouragement to use a glue gun in the instructions. The hull in particular is a bear as well as a few other parts. I used the gun extensively and she's solid as all heck. |

Yes, the glue gun rocks. However, it is difficult to handle and can produce really poor results if done wrong. Besides the little glue strings that are produced most of the time when you lift the glue gun from the glue are annoying to work with. I kept putting my thumb across the hot glue to get rid of them. Slightly painful but effective. The glue sticks are more predictable and a lot more forgiving. |

I use a high-temp glue gun. Its a little less stringy and doesn't dry quite as fast. Agreed though, they are tricky to work with. |

What's a high temp glue gun? The one I have just heats the glue stick and melts it. You then apply it directly to the surface. Do the High Temp ones work with a different glue material? |
