Drat, you beat me to it. Altavista translations is a very handy tool. Denny, have you considered hiring/bribing a professional translator or two to crank out Spanish/French/German/etc. versions of your instructions and do some marketing in the appropriate markets? |

Perhaps one of you kind German speaking souls out there could register to this board: http://www.gw-fanworld.net/index.php?ac ... 2c42a6c719 and explain to the last guy who posted that downloading WW stuff for free isn’t so cool. Maybe you could also mention that the price of our sets is floating between $10 & $15 dollars for now only because people are supporting us by not file sharing. That low price point will defiantly change if people continue to pirate. I would rather have 5 honest customers a day willing to fork out more money than 10 indifferent souls who take advantage of a lower price point only to turn around and share the files. Maybe a higher price point would make the files appear more “precious”. That same sting you feel when you buy a video game for $60.00 and a friend asks you to copy it for him. You feel like telling the guy “Get your own copy! This was my hard earned money”. The price is set as low as it is to appeal to "money challenged" gamers. With a price that low there is NO excuse to pirate or share these files. My assumption was that people would respect what I'm trying to do here and not bother with file sharing. Time and time again I'm finding that my assumption was wrong. Very sad and VERY aggravating. |

And now for a quick summary of both threads. GW-Fanworld Elektroschnitzel saw the Maiden at the german Games Workshop Game Day and was asking where to find it or similar models (like the ones from the Mortheim-box). Then follow a few comments about how cool it looks and Scorpius provides the link to WWG as well as a few pictures. Kartonbau.de thie does an overview over his projekt to build two Maidens for his two sons. The others say that they have also started with the Maiden and that they love the textures. |
