I realized that I'll probably print a bazillion pages next week, and put an order in for a full cart refresh set (7 inks).

I also ordered a new cutting blade for my Robo. I'm going to attempt to manually hone my existing one, and need a backup, just in case it goes badly, badly wrong . . .

I'm printing out some Beta stuff today. I've drained one of each ink cartridge

I did a MASSIVE amount of cutting on 80lb paper for my promo builds and my blade is just starting to show some wear (very minor incomplete cuts here and there). I ordered 4 more which should last me a good long while but it would still be nice to know if we can extend that range a bit.

No ink order here.....I, er, use the laser printer at work. Hell, it's one of the major benefits to working an off shift - no-one else in the office to notice. And I try to stagger my print sessions across several days (only printing what I think I can build in the next day or two, or occasionally a little more for the weekend) so the toner loss isn't catastrophic in a single evening

Bought a full toner set for my CLP, which made it four days early!!

I have a complete toner set for my CLP waiting since a month, IIRC... has been bought mostly for GotSS, but it seems that as soon as SoH 1&2 will be released it will see some action.

I ordered some HP relpacement ink cartridges from LD Products and am very satisfied. Quick delivery, low price, and the inks work like OEM.

About sharpening the cutter blades. I had some scissors that were dulling so I cut through some aluminum foil with them and it seemed to hone the blades so the scissors cut a lot better. Maybe cutting some heavy duty aluminum foil with the cutter blade will hone them too. It is worth a try. You could just run the blade through some of the foil or perhaps there is a way to attach a sheet of foil to one of the carrying sheets and cut a bunch of straight lines or big sweeping curves. It might hone the blade some and counteract the dulling caused by the cardstock used as the carrying sheet.

If it doesn't work, well you were going to buy a new blade anyway, right?

I buy refilled cartridges, and since I started printing on "normal" instead of "fast normal" I seem to be going through color ink twice as quickly. Which means two cartridges per project, usually, rather than one. Which means my cost of project has jumped by $15, still far less expensive than buying any other kind of scenery, even when you factor in cardstock, foamboard, and lumber. I think the time is more, but the results are better than what I could do on a pre-made scenic item so it is a trade-off. Of course, some companies sell pre-painted scenery that is very nice... at a price.
