I know its not reflected on other storefronts but that's because the WorldWorksGames storefront tends to be where most people do their shopping. In fact, our 20% off sale was a MASSIVE success and 90% of buying traffic was direct through our storefront. WOOT!

I have a sneaky suspicion that the TerrainLinx will increase sales of future sets as well since the setup/take down/storage is going to be so much easier.

And I'm sure any retro fitting of currently available Himmelveil sets will increase their sales too.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider buying anywhere else. I've bought countless sets through the WWG store and never had a single problem.

Heh - Just remember, those who did purchase through RPGNow/Drivethru can post reviews of the products.

I would like to see a bit more exposure over there - while Denny gets a much bigger bit of change when the purchase is through the WWG site every new customer is a potential magnet for more purchases. (After my move I am planning on putting up a review on a few sites. I have high hopes for the sets. )

Heck, if anyone else feels like posting reviews at, say, ENWorld or RPG.Net then they should feel free.

The Auld Grump

Got paid today so I finally got to buy both of the TerrainLinX sets, perfect timing as I just finished moving and am getting settled enough to have my cardstock stuff out. I've noticed there's been quite a bit of discussion (all positive) about these sets on the Yahoo!Groups papermodels group the last few days, looks like quite a few people who aren't really into gaming terrain have been picking these sets up just because of how well done they are.

Man, that's terrific news! Its exactly the kind of thing we were aiming for. Pulling people in who may have overlooked this hobby in the past was one of many goals with the system.

I bought mine direct from the WWG site, though I was tempted to get them from RPGNow, so that I could leave a glowing review and help pull in some more custom.

Maybe I'll do that with the Canal set.

I'm really sorry to not have been able to be in on this from day one, but my economy is shot right to hell - and will be for a while yet. And before I get any more WWG stuff, I intend to invest in a Craft Robo or Silhouette SD...so, it'll be a few more months.

But I am so happy to see that it's working as well as it is. I'll join in the fun some time during the winter months.

I finally had enough pieces to try some experimental builds tonight.

Putting the pieces together can only be described as stupidly easy! I was left with this feeling of 'why the Heck didn't somebody think of this before?!' (That moment was when I plugged in a balcony on a second floor tile. It was like the feeling I had in algebra when the entire equation canceled out. Yes!)

It is going to make my Prison build ridiculously easier - I can already pretty much say what bits I am going to need, and what pieces I am going to need to borrow from other sets.

That said - I am going to recommend a Prison set in the boosters thread. Let's put the Dungeons back into the game.
