Hovels and Homes is pointless on its own when you consider that it will be a part of VillageWorks Ultimate ![]() |

I had just done a few pieces for Villageworks so far, and when I saw this, I am trying to control the drooling so I can continue. Since I am somewhat new to this sort of thing, are these revisions compatible with the originals? I'm sure the small buildings will have a purpose in all the games I play, but just wonder if I should continue building or wait for the ultimate. I had considered cutting up some extra wall sections from Pubs and Inns to do the interior walls, but can always wait on that. I learned that players will use a building to hide in during a game if they can, and my barracks buildings became hiding spots for several squads as players lifted roofs off when I had figured they would just go around. On a side note, the fence I used from Village Works worked very well for my miniatures game at Advance The Colors - I hope to run a few more feet of it for some other miniatures games. Sure beats gluing tons of toothpicks together. |

The first two interiorworks sets are two of my all-time favourite WW sets and have certainly seen probably the most use (except maybe for the original Castleworks and Villageworks. Personally I hope the houses in VWU are differently coloured to the original ones - new buyers won't know any different, and owners of the original set would be able to make a more eclectic range of buildings without having to use as many duplicates. Glad to know it hasn't vanished from the radar, just been assimilated into another set ![]() |

I hope VW:U is near the top of the future line-up! |
