Deadfall, hm..... Without much info I'd say it sounds like a twisted outdoor forested setting? Maybe a TLX dark Swampwoods/Hinterland? |

It's obviously sci fi. I mean dead, as in when in space you die, and fall... as in... you fall ... erm... forever? Ok im stretching, i have no idea what it is. But i hope its some scifi themed terrainlinx set. That would be badass. |

Hmmm I could easily see Deadfall being a Western type setting, the town of Deadfall is located by a once glorious set of falls, unfortunately because of a drought that seems to have lasted the past 25 years the falls are now dead, just a small trickle of water coming down over the cliff. The only reason the town still survives is due to the gold found in the area, and that it is located at a major crossroads for those heading east/west and those heading north/south. Or Deadfall could be a forest setting, Deadfall forest was ones a lush thriving forest until something happened, now all the trees are barren and no life thrives in the forest, many believe that the forest is cursed by the Dark Wizard DenUngeras who was defeated by Sir Matthis Lyonis in an epic battle that took place in the heart of the forest over 100 years ago. They say only ones willing to enter Deadfall forest are the insane, the foolish or the insanely foolish brave. |

If it is a western town, then it's a tie in with Deadlands from Pinnacle Entertainment or Malifaux, but I think you guys figured that out. Pinnacle recently released a new version of their Showndown skirmish wargaming rules, and mentioned there would be more to come along those lines. I'm thinking they're looking to expand into a small skirmish Deadlands miniature game, and since western themed terrain is a bit hard to find, making a deal with WWG is a good way to go. However, there is also Malifaux, also set in the same time period that seems to be taking off lately. Has the same problems as above, so having good cardstock terrain can only help the game. |

My guess this is one of two things. 1. Steampunk (possibly with a Western theme a la Wild Wild West) 2. Post Apocolipse (Deadfall refering to radioactive fallout) 2a. Zombie Apocolipse No theory just had to add it in there. --Chris |

Yeey something of an abandonned martian refinery with multilevel platforms and red dusty streets... Your tanks are patrolling the area, the snipers are in place, but beware, if they misjudge they location it's high, it's DEADFALL!! |
