Having had some recent very pleasant dealings with the esteemed competition, I'm going to say I hope to ultimately mix and match products all over the place - I've already done this with two terrain setups recently and nothing spontaneously burst into flames or anything

Must not be using flamable ink, happens to me all the time one of our guys is a heavy chain smoker, and that darn flamable ink, though it makes for very realistic escape the burning villians lair scenerios...

OT, regarding spontaneous combustion

Back in the day our drawing office was computer free and we drew on film with ink pens. Mistakes could be easily corrected with acetone. This wasn't a problem in itself.

The problem was people were also allowed to smoke in the office!!

Hmmmm... licensing, possibly a western type of town,and possible utility for Himmelveil as well. I know there's one game that would certainly fit all of those. I wonder if I can pry a little info out of the powers that be "over there."

You guys keep saying it might be a Western and you are getting me all excited, every other western city papercraft i have seen out there just sucks. it looks like paper buildings.

Oh, by the way, what I think is rather funny about all this is how every gaming company seems to have their own term for people who demo their game. As such, saying you are a henchman means something completely different than sayin you’re a press ganger or saying you’re an outrider.

I know what it is...it starts with a "P" and is something I'm looking at outside my window right now. Also, the moon whispers to it when light fails and it can see but has no eyes and can jump but has no legs. Or face. Or something.

A-fore-mentioned, hinted, "partner's" game: as I understand it uses minis that are a larger scale than the usual 28mm (I call what I use usual b/c you know the world revolves around me) . So are the textures going to be larger as well, or will they be fairly universal for any size model?

And we could all be wrong about it... so the size diff doesn't matter

Said system calls their scale larger but in fact is in line with GW... it's GW that misinforms.

Texturing for anying of that game system would be no different to anything else put out be WWG.

Actually the beveled plastic bases are 30mm, or just shy of an 1-1/8". It's only an issue when you have a 1" hallway or catwalk.

Well... TLX comes in 1 inch and 1.5 inch... wouldn't the 1.5 work? 1 inch be included for those not using their minitures?

If the game is a no-grid game it's no biggie, if it is, or you just like playing on a grid, then you have to scale up all the templates (if any) and you can't use a standard ruler for ranged attacks, you have to count squares or make a custom scale (if you can't do math in your head like me!)

Actually I prefer the 1.5 sized grid, especially with all the big-ish minis that are all the rage now, but it drives my buddy the purist out of his gourd.
