I had a friend from the US who had lived in Canada for almost 20 years ask me why we celebrate Thanksgiving in October, not November and I replied, "Come on, it's November in Canada, there's NOTHING to be thankful for!" |

The funny thing is here in CT it snowed Twice in October, once on the 18th and can't remember the other day but it was around then. Yeah it didn't stick much, most was gone by the end of the day or by the next morning... but it still was snowing in October. |
