There has got to be a way to use this.... A trifle pricey, though (32.50 Euros). The Auld Grump |

Isn't this model a large scale?? Something like 1/35th scale or something?? Would explain the high price |

A tad over two inches tall - still a bit pricey at more than $45 US. The Auld Grump, there is a reason so many of Reaper's minis are being reissued in lead.... But even their pewter (tin, for the most part) giants are cheaper than this. |

Aaah, glad to see other people discover SmartMax and the wonderful world of Smog 1888.These are by far the most gorgeaous miniatures that have been produced in a very long time. And with a very dark, brooding setting to top it off. Granted though, they are really quite expensive. They’re all resin, though and the quality of the miniatures is really very, very high. About the scale, they are 50 mm miniatures (I think it is called). So quite a bit larger than what I am used to painting. I’ve seen the golem in "real life" a few months ago and I have to say, it really is gorgeous. Now if only I made more money... |

Yeah, I’ve got similar problems. I recently bought this model from them: Very beuatiful, lots of dynamics and whatsnot. I really want to buy more of their range, but the price is holding me back. Especially for a miniature range without a game. On the other hand, they are working on a game, to be released somewhere early next year. It is going to be a boardgame, with nicely decorated floorboards, so that might spike my interest further. Now where are those blueprints for the bank in my street... |
