Sorry gang. Part of it has to do with being around for as long as we have. Naming conventions have changed for various reasons throughout the years to keep things organized on virtual catalogs here and elsewhere. More often than not though (though there are some exceptions), we reduce things down to short form. So Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings becomes wwglhotdk.zip, the "lhotdk" being the full title obviously. If you think about it that way it usually makes sense. We'll work at organizing things a bit better this year though. |

But INSIDE the zip, couldn't there be a file that clearly identifies what the produt is? If you don't get it from the abbreviated name, it's still really hard to figure it out from the contents. And I think the solution is pretty easy -- even if the names and naming conventions change over time, with a click or two we could get confirmation of what the file is. Steve |
