I really like this. And that has got to be the least expensive (but still nice looking) Balrog I have ever seen! You definitely should have had a Gandalf model facing off against it... well, maybe not. I can't wait for it to get released. |

Call me STOOPIDD, but I can't figure out how they're getting the curved wall to retain its form. At first I thought it was just a straight piece bent to be curved and held in place with posts, but the last pic showing individual pieces shows a magically formed curved wall. ![]() |

Just looked at the manifest again. At first I thought the chasms were just tiles with holes cut. Doing them as balconies is just brilliant. |

Very nice. The chasms are a good touch - given the derelict nature of the Halls they make sense. ![]() The hugenormgantic pillars fit right in with my general view that dwarfs build BIG. Mixed walls, good. Still no windows or arrow slits though.... (Not to mention convenient cannon ports. Nothing says 'Hello!' like a whiff of grapeshot!) The Auld Grump |
