I luv the apocalypse streets. had not really planned on getting Mayhem, but this may have changed my mind about that.

I love the look of the rebooted Streets. I just dig what these contains - the ramps, overpasses, highway tiles (woot!), and the various versions of clean/dirty (no more creating my own layers to clean-up/dirty-up the tiles). Just phenomenal.

Thanks for including the Apocalypse version! I'm busy building my fantasy T'Linx for D&D right now, but this should be really handy when the new Gamma World comes out in the fall.

Downloading both sets now... and off to dig the original builds out to use the existing foamcore - waste not want not.

WOW! There is so much goodness in this set. I just love the three levels of cleanliness - what a great idea. And the extra wide roads are very welcome. I honestly did not expect to see any contemporary TLX sets so soon. Indeed, I was thinking it'd be next year before we saw anything official but I have to say that you've just blown me away with this release. Thanks, Denny! You've made my day!

Thanks for the very kind an enthusiastic support gang! We've had great success with modern and Mayhem holds a special place of pride for us. We felt it was important that we establish a TerrainlinX release path for it early in the year. Under TerrainlinX the setting just has tremendous potential! Oh and Matt's got a great lineup coming!

I mean street modelsets will come and go but the important thing to me was that Streets of Legend had that one, stand-out, original element to make it truly special. I'm a huge fan of distopian/end-of-the-world movies and books (morbid I know) and I wanted gamers to have some thematic options to play with on that end. The other key thing to me was to give a wide breadth of textural options which really establish a sense of place in each area of conflict.

And then there's the highways...I kept thinking of the Matrix Reloaded and how cool it would be to do a dramatic highway chase/battle on the gaming table. Or better yet, do that with a table full of zombies...on the highway!

Anyway, it was actually a ton of fun to create this one. I can't wait to see user builds!

I was also thinking how good all this ties into a "time cop" type scenario now that TLX is across multiple genres.

The Apocalyptic theme has me thinking about running my Fallout game again, it would be just about perfect. Ghouls in the Big Dig comes to mind....

Heh, my thought when looking at this and the TLX Armoury was a group of adventurers in the zombie infested ruins of civilization, on a quest for the last remaining packets of Twinkies. (Contrary to popular opinion, Twinkies do have an expiration date!)

Is this an expansion to BoL or a standalone game? I've had my eye on BoL for a while now, this could be what tips me over the edge. Or I could always run Atomic Highway with this stuff instead now

I'm curious if the street signs, rail tracks and such from the original that didn't make it into this release will make it into another release. I found WWG at about the time the first TLX stuff came out last year and havn't been able to buy a lot that wasn't TLX. Am I going to have to buy the original to get the extra stuff or is that being worked into something else?

I just picked up Atomic Highway ... this set is the linch pin for it. I've also been rummaging thru the Industrial set and other WWG sets for scraps to build some of the settlements. Found I-beams, corrugated tin, lots of stuff. The Junkyard set had great pickings ... as others. It is all coming together. Excitement!!!!

I think I'll take a look a Barbarians of the Aftermath as well.
