Update from the WWG Dungeon
Hey gang,
Many of you have probably noted a spooky calm floating around since our last release. As those who frequent here can probably tell you, when we get quiet that usually mean's our noses are firmly planted to the grind stone. I just wanted to fill you in as best I can without giving too much away...
Garden of the Stone Speakers: Tomas (of Thoumont's TLX conversion fame
) is still plugging away at the Garden of the Stone Speakers TLX conversion. He's done a masterful job with it so far but he still has a little ways to go. The set is really two individual releases, one for the main garden and another for a more classical dungeon setting. As with the garden, the dungeon is an entirely new beast under TLX and requires its own unique focus. We've decided to release these modelsets at the same time rather than staggering them, simply because they work so well together.
Codename Titan: Paul is putting the final touches on his next space opera setting “Titan”. This is some of Mr.Senior's best work to date and it is sure to make a lot of sci-fi fans happy. The setting is really a series of releases covering various areas of infrastructure that Paul plans on rolling out over the next few months.
Treasures and Tombs: Matt's next booster for Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings is nearly complete. “Treasures and Tombs” really fills out the setting and addresses many requests. Aubrey is working at getting that up and available to you all very soon.
Gothic Realms TLX: Robby is busy converting our classic Gothic Realms setting to the TLX standard. I was so impressed with the work he had done solo that I brought him in to make it an official conversion. This is something you should see hit the store in the nearish future.
Literary Error: Bob and Alberto's long awaited Literary Error series will eventually find their way to the store. These short “plug-in” encounter scenarios come with awesome standees and are a great way to add spice to your existing game. We're doing our best to tie up loose ends there.
Wormhole Verus Fleet: Joseph's Verus Fleet is closer than ever to being completed. We had a mid-production slow down (no fault of Joseph's at all) but we will get it out to you guys. The work done here is truly outstanding and it brings a far better balance to the Wormhole Universe. More news on Wormhole to come!
TLX Mounting Templates: For those following along, we've been trying to create a scenario in which we could offer precut TerrainlinX mounts. These mounts would come in 3/16 and 1/4” thicknesses, on super tough sign mounting foam, precut and in various packages (As well as linX tabs). We've had many false starts here but I'm happy to report that this is finally finding its feet. The only real problem is that the rollout for this new service is taking some time to build an infrastructure around. We're getting much closer though and I can hear cry's of joy from the many TLX die-hards who's hands and fingers are cramped up from cutting waaaaay too many templates
Between this and a Silhouette SD, you're job would involve simply gluing things together! How great is that?!
Project Breach: This one has been eating the great majority of my time for the past few weeks and a good chunk of Matt Lyon's time. Frustratingly, it's also the thing I can tell you the least about. This has actually been in the works for a few months now (or if you really push it back, a few years). What I can say is that the work we are doing right now will have a profound effect on WWG's future. Long story short, you'll see some big changes (all positive) occurring over the next 2 months or so. This is a game changer on a few important levels. LOTS of work ahead
That's about it for the rough overview. The juiciest bits of info I'll have to wait to reveal over the next few weeks. These are exciting times gang and as always, we are deeply honored to have you here with us for the ride!
