More than just an update of the original garage, this set gives you everything you need to get "building" your buildings! Fully compatible with it's predecessors in the modern TLX line, Mayhem Under Construction let's you easily re-create the classic unfinished basic garage from the original Armoury set... and then keep going! With the components in this set you can create modern structures in virtually any state of progress, from steel-framed skeletons to completed buildings and any kind of renovation or expansion project in between!

Actually, if the title actually is 'Under Construction' (as opposed to 'Title is under construction') then I think this has he potential to be a great set!

A totally underwhelmed shadegate.

This seems to be a trend leeching through the whole fantasy/sci-fi gaming world at the moment. Various forums say we're going to release something but we're not going to tell you anything beyond a name and some snppets released when we think you deserve something.

Yawn, wake me up when there's a paypal link and I'll show some interest. (As I have done with just about every other set you've ever made)

Not a hater, just a disillusioned long time fan and customer who's getting hacked off with the trend in the industry of non-announcements.

My solution is easy, bin the 'what's coming' page from my favourites and replace it with the storefront page. That way I see what's available without months of scant build-up.

The thing with this announcement for me is the progress circle/icon - nrly at completion.
Also looking at who the designer is (Demon Matt Lyon) I think we may see this sooner than you think.

Yeah good point, he does get the sets out the door in double quick time.

Should be a good set too. Mayhem is definitely my favourite series. Even my five year old likes it for driving his toy cars around.

I know where shadegate is coming from, to say he's a hater is...uncalled for, imho. Let's face it, there has been a *lot* sitting in the release queue for a long time now, and while the reasons for delays are, I'm sure, good ones it doesn't make it any easier - especially when new things keep getting added to the pile and the apparent backlog gets longer and longer.

Regarding the set itself, I *REALLY* hope that 'Under Construction' is what it implies - a set containing building site models; cranes, girders, porta-potties etc. Lots of potential here. I'm excited

I will point out that Cap'n G has been much better about that then most - so I would expect to see something in maybe eight weeks, unless there is a delay in regards to instructions etc.. If anything, Mr. Lyons pads the estimates of the time required - a sane and reasonable approach.

My biggest worry, in regards to WWG in general, is that there may be too many projects that are pushing back the development of projects that are already well past their sell by dates. (Yes, I am looking at Stone Speakers in that regards - two Pathfinder Adventure Paths have been finished since the one that the set was supposed to accompany - it needs to be finished, and soon. I really hope that WWG doesn't lose the Paizo license to someone else because of this delay. ) And each big new project pushes the older ones even further back.

It just seems like we all need to be patient. Getting frustrated doesn't really help anything.

Mayhem just gets better and better! I'm going to go nuts with all the possibilities I need to get some ink and lots more cardstock.

The WIP meter and the "What's Coming" threads are our way of sharing development info with fans in what would normally be a complete vacuum. You either enjoy the community aspect of your visits and don't mind the wait for info or the wait just frustrates (I understand both perspectives).

There are sound reasons that other gaming companies typically lock fans out of that loop. Namely; ever shifting production schedule conflicts and competition getting a jump on revealed ideas. Businesses which openly share info from day 1 on upcoming releases usually don't have competitors looking over their shoulder.

The thing is, we don't want to cut you guys off like that so we share what we can, when we can, even if it means that you hear about things which we can't discuss until near end production or if they've jumped the gun in the development cue.

Its one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations.

Full disclosure before anyone asks: Yes, these are 3D renders so some things in the final product may be a little off proportionally but visually and texturally everything is accurate (not including the background elements from SOL and M: Apartments of course, each sold seperately- batteries not included).

Mhh, I think what is missing are a half-finished wall.
You know, a wall where we see the brickwork only partially finished, a zigzag border. Are there naked steel supports? I only see them covered with plasterboard.

Have WWG some large machines like a excavator or caterpillar in some older sets? Could be part of a extension of this set.
