I as well agree with DeltaIce. I bought the set. Think it is good. But I would have like fences and better ground tiles. Container are a dime a dozen on the net for free or even on this site for virtually nothing as well as crates. PM me if you want links. I got them and they are free and legal. I don't need more cars or trucks or barrels to be honest I got them in the Maybem sets I bought already. Plus there are free ones on the net all over the place. To me these items that are already apart of other sets feel like a throw in to fill out the set, when a fence and a couple ground tiles that a construction yard would have would have been more satisfying . What about the old wet cement tile where you can throw that bothersome villain in to settle in(ah la Spiderman...) Or even a hole or two. Okay let me rephrase that as I went back and looked at my downloads. How about ANY ground tiles at all. They are all building floors. NO GROUND TILES AT ALL. I think the props are great. Wood, bricks, Awesome wheel barrel nice to have.. There really is a SH*T load of props.(one of the things that caught my eye was the stack of stuff in the first place) Over all I am reasonably happy. I like this set. But UNDER CONSTRUCTION should have ground tiles where the construction starts and the stuff is plied on while it is being constructed. As well as a Stock wood fence or chain link fence.(wood because I own the chain link from one of the other mayhem sets) Loose the vehicles, add in the ground tiles I mention and fence a steel girder from the other mayhem set. A conveyor belt and a Yellow Construction Elevator to stick on the side and this would be a 15 dollar set for sure. Comments from the community or artist? Over all I would recommend this set as it is. 7.25 out of 10 Still a lot of value but lacking some bits to realize it's name and true potential. So when is the Construction tiles and fence and other bits going up for sale? I will buy it as an add-on. Thanks for the modern kit BTW. I hope this is seen as constructive because it is great work, IMHO it just needs a few touches to be AWESOME. Sincerely Styxx42 |

I also believe that junkyard was a lower res than most of Mayhem. If I know anything about Denny and crew, they already have a revamp of Junkyard somewhere in the queue or at the very least tossing around in their mind. I know I've heard mention of a rural/suburban expansion at some point, and the fencing and dirt lots would definitely fit into that. |
