For me, the biggest issue is the time it takes to make the mounts. It's a large amount of time but in the end you just have these stacks of foam tiles cut but nothing is glued/put together yet. If these were at a good enough price point for me, I could basically jump straight to cutting and glueing - and after an hours time I would have tangible stuff I could put together instead of a stack of tiles.

Depending on International Handling of TLX and Terraclips will be the decider for me on both products. I dont have alot of time to build anymore although I do enjoy it. TLX templates would help immencely especially overcoming the dificulty it is getting foamcore in the UK (it always seems to be an uphill battle). Terraclips is the big seller for me ATM but right now ill just wait and see on pricing/shipping. |

Thanks for the update. I'm about to buy into the Mayhem sets and TLX heavily since two games I'm into make use of urban terrain, especially so with the new Destroyed set out. However, I practically busted up my wrists and tendons while working at a graphics/print shop where I was responsible for making new foam board displays, doing complicated foam core cuts by hand. My arm never really recovered from that abuse. I would gladly pay for not just a sturdier and more permanent mounting board, but also to save myself even more trouble. I assume the first run is still going to be 3/16" thickness? |

Well started on my next big (for me at least) batch of foam core cutting. I had forgotten how much I hate foam core. 
PLEASE move this along in September! I want at least an option not to have to do this for my LHotDK build.... |

Over the weekend I bought a bunch of Foamcore and printed out the mounts, and am working on a bunch of the hand cut foamcore for when Titan gets released... If this comes out first will be a bit miffed... |

I am really excited about this! I hate cutting foamcore. I can't cut very many mounts in one sitting without a tendonitis flare up. You guys have released so many great sets in the last year, and I've been frustrated by how slowly I am able to realize my grandiose TLX dreams. This sounds like the perfect solution for me. I would buy 3/16", but am also interested in 1/4". I eagerly await more details.

Any idea of how these will distributed? I mean through normal game distribution (i.e game distrbutors - to the stores?) or is this going to be a direct sales item from Worldworks? If it is direct, when are you taking preorders? I'd like to know you wont run out. I plan on getting a few and then a few more when released (and if my commission check is timed accordingly). If through a local store, i'd like to place and order with them. |

Hey thanks for the kind words farseer We do our best.
Whenever someone asks me how hard our model sets are to put together I tell them the same thing; "they aren't hard but it is a hobby and therefor it takes time". The big benefit of the TerrainlinX system is that the time invested pays back 10-fold with elements you can reuse over and over again in new ways. The pre-cut mounts will just make that process smoother and even more enjoyable!
