Very nice product... Hard cardstock precut with good textures is just perfect for QUICK scenery... really quick indeed
I think the problem with terralinx is that you sacrifice a lot of building time to get versatility and decrease storage space... but building time is one of the most important factors (for me) about paper terrain.
This solution is surely a winner.
* Very fair price: anyone can find unpainted more or less similar wood structures for miniatures that are more expensive and of course you have to paint them too instead of having a good "paintjob" texutre already on it
* The final result is just close to perfect: a little flat but as it is hard cardstock pieces can be EASYLY modded... I think it will look great with other terrain pieces, Hirst plaster buildings, resin casts, even GW ones...
* The weight of the cardstock is the best option, wood is too heavy and paper too light... this kind of cardstock seems good to me.
* And finally the "clipping" links are good... not really a new concept as it resembles some other systems (necromunda someone?) and the VERYY OLD cardstock buildings for some toys I remember from my early ages... (in spain there were toys called COMANBOYS who have huge space stations build that way, surely in other countries there wer things similar).
One thing I really liked is the ramp solution for miniatures, with that easy pieces miniatures will not slip away... very clever.
Now, what you SHOULD evaluate (I'm sure you're already into it) is to adapt such system to the upcoming TITAN release... many people out there are hardcore scifi players... and there are not much pre-build-painted terrain for it (apart of WWG products, Ebbles ones, and other high quality Free items out there that I will not comment here)
