Hello all! I've been looking for a way to design 3d dungeons for my D&D game for a while now, and I'm really impressed with how WWG models look. One tricky thing that's really crucial for me is that I can use them to design terrain right from maps from commercial adventure modules, which can be quite tricky since the maps generally aren't drawn with any particular terrain brand in mind, with all limitations they can present; being able to do so demands a lot in terms of versatility. So basically, if I buy WWG terrain, what are the chances I can actually re-create that particular map in my current adventure? Grateful for answers, of course! |

That depends on the adventure I'd imagine.... the TLX system for world works is setup with tiles in 3"x3", 3"x6" and 6"x6" setup. This means unless all the rooms fit into these dimensions you're likely going to have some issues. As with anything like this, you could kitbash something to work for other dimensions, but it is time-consuming to do so. Now the chunky dungeon 1" has tiles in 2"x2" instead which could be easier to work with for you, but I have no personal experience with this set so I can't comment further.... Hope that helps! |
