What a masterful build
The extra layer on the railing looks really good - the added depth enhances the effect.
Plus you've done a superb job on the edging. What pens/colors did you use?

Life kept getting in the way of this one, but it is complete! I had my Dad (the family Captain) and my daughter (the newest pirate-princess) in mind the entire time. This one was for them. Congrats on the build! It looks fantastic. If you don't mind a recommendation though: after my Maiden build I noticed the railings were very loose and didn't look like they would stay together after a long time. To combat that I doubled the railing on each side (I printed out another set of the walls with railings, cut off just the railing section and a part of the wall and glued it on the existing railing). For extra sturdiness I put a piece of transparency paper in between the railing which gave it the extra strength of a solid piece of see through paper. Too big and not bright enough, I did a lot of searching before I found a box that you could put rechargeable AA batteries in that was just bright enough and had the right color light. I can try to find the place I bought it from if people are interested. |
