Post subject: | A Shout Out to WorldWorksGames |
I've been building cardstock for games going on 8 years now. Due to this experience, I've gotten a lot of questions (mostly from my players) on just exactly how I go about doing it all. When I sat down to write it all out, I realized I had to start at the beginning. Doing so found me laying lavish praise on WorldWorks. Anyhoo, I thought some people might be interested in reading what I wrote. |

Though I would never want this to happen in a million years, I think that even if you decided to call it quits right now, it would take at least 5 to 6 years for the competition to reach the level you are at now. The sheer quality of the textures, not to mention the complexity of the builds, is what gets me coming back again and again. As for Microtactix... the funny thing is, I never actually say you guys were the first on the scene; it just really seems like I said it because I never mention anyone coming before. I did this specifically because I wasn't totally sure if you guys actually were the first. (You were my first... EH-OH!) Although now I'm afraid that maybe I left a sentence or two in there that actually says, "They were the first..." Anyhoo, I do remember Microtactix... I remember not giving them a second look. I just don't remember when that was; that's how memorable the experience was. ![]() |
