Well it's official, WorldWorks CDroms are heading to a store near you! The first two products out of the gate are "CastleWorks Ultimate" and " SeaWorks: Maiden of the High Seas". These should start showing up over the next three months or so. Ya! ![]() This is just a draft ad for Gametrade but I thought I would let you all in on the behind the scenes development. |

Heh, I remember the horror and dejection I felt when I found out that my girlfriend's mother... approved of me. (What had I done wrong?) The Auld Grump, who still doesn't understand it... we don't agree on anything! |

Looks great Denny. I'd buy em like this if the price is going to be the same as the downloadable version; just to support a brick and mortar presence. I don't know how cost effective it would be, but I would like to see printed instructions in the jewel case. Even black and white would be cool. My one gripe about WWG instructions is that they're ink intensive. I know they're meant to be read on screen and thats what I do, but having them in front of me on the table would be a whole lot nicer. That would seal the deal here. ![]() |

Thanks for the support Count. Given the realities of production time and costs it is unlikely the CDrom will be as inexpensive as pure PDF's. The price may be a bit higher but we are working on ways to make them more attractive in terms of adding "extra value items" (still working on a few ideas there). .[/quote] I hope that those of us who buy the downloadable pdf don't get shortchanged on extra items... |

I think this is a great idea. The products will show really well and I think you'll get more than a few folks picking these up soley based on the promise of the cover art! I hope you HEAVILY promote the site and this forum in the box! A newbie REALLLY needs the community support to get through their first project. It's a bit daunting at first. ![]() Kind of like the first time I brought home a scale model of the Enterprise (Aircraft Carrier) and excitedly opened it up only to find that there was about 9 bajillion little pieces and not a toy I could play with the same day. However; Buh-Rilliant move on your part to expand the market. I will evangelize locally when the boxes show up in my FLGS. -PaperCut |
