I got yer fluff text right here. R-36 Light Recon/Attack Scout The R-36 is an easy to fly and inexpensive entry-level spacecraft. A light, adaptable scout ship with a crew of two, it lacks heavy offensive or defensive systems, relying on its small size, high speed and a high-power sensor array to get a quick look and get out. The design excels at atmospheric, orbital and interplanetary operations, lacking jump capability. The pressurized cockpit provides a week’s life support for two crew, or two weeks for one. The rear cockpit contains most of the sensor displays, linked to enhanced arrays on the front and underside of the main hull. The seat is removable for more cargo space. The four Turner-Cham ion fission engines are optimized for speed and range rather than agility in a vacuum. Rather than vectored nozzles, the engines have interlinked throttles. The auxiliary thrusters can be slaved to the flight controls for enhanced handling at a cost in fuel. The dual grav lifters are rated at full takeoff mass in up to 4g environments. Speed: 95 Mg Accell: 25 Maneuver: 70 Dp Hull: 15 Ru Shield: None Power: Gunden-Kak TX-840 Reactor with twin converters. Arkon 41-C 800w APU. Sensors: Comtar E-390 Long Range Recon Arrays with Multi-band interplexing and Auto Stability Control and integrated short-range targeting. |
