I find the FL stuff very humanistic with out being anal (read Empire). Gives the feeling of a free - trader or an under funded military ship.
I do see what looks to be bland - and at first I must admit I thought so but when you print off a copy and then look at the details it all comes together.
Would love to see some Bio-Tec styling in FL 2.0, something to say very hi-tec or very alien (B5 Vorlon-ish).
I also think that the shuttle is a prop and is out of context upon its own. Throw it into a hanger (or rammed through a wall
) and then it becomes texture itself. Think of it as a recipe - the ingredients could be raw and unfinished upon there own but when cooked off - mix of favour, aroma and eye pleasure.
Wait for the final flash before totaly dismissing the project.
