I don't know what to be most excited about! This set looks great!

Where or what was the original set? I don't see it in the current WWG catalog. I love TLX but for some of my builds I still like static type sets.

Is the big wall in the background part of the set?

The "big wall in the back" is the standard 6" plain wall, ofset against itself level by level. Though the set is slated to include the "tall wall" style as seen in the Lost Halls.

As for the 1" walkways, termed "catwalks" in this set...the Lair of the Dragon God has a problem for taking the same balcony approach as previous sets...there often won't be a tile 'behind' the wall for the balcony to go into. So a new method had to be invented, and this is it.

One-square wide pillars slot into the posts in the corners of the tiles, and the catwalks slot into those pillars. It's extremely sturdy, and as you can see from the picture, the catwalks have anchors atop them so you can build upwards from there (anchorless versions also available).

The set will also include bridges that will span the gap between catwalks across a tile.

That 1" thick wall with the TLX tabs looks to be a useful one - Ledge running around the room style-of-thing.

Another instant purchase.

SO much good stuff. Every set has something new. I have to get, every one so I can backport it to older sets ( as so as I master GIMP enough to do so).

Those dragons are great!

I especially love that there looks to be a few options for things like frills, wings and poses.

Actually, the geometry is the same for the dragons...though there are both small wing and large wing variations.

When I built the blue dragon, I just cut away the tail spikes, head frill, and left the wings off....then I bent the neck the other direction.

That, plus minor variations in how close or far apart the arms and legs are posed, provides a fairly good range of variation...just showing some of the things you can do with a little creativity.

The little things go a long way at the table. Nicely done, guys.

The pic of the updated set definitely sells it for me. I wasn't sure if I would be interested in purchasing this revamp of a set I already own and have built, it looks like there'll be enough reworked and new goodies to make me happy.

I supose you refer to the Rackham prepainted minis from the Confrontation miniature games... I've just purchased them (and a lot more) at a very good price as they are discontinued...

I luv the lava "ramps". This will be a fun set. Mix it SOH, Obelisk, and Necroblock and I could make a Magma City Forge battlefield.

Yeah those prepaints are great. I grabbed a couple hundred dollars of them when rackham closed. I think they were like $4-$6 a box then.

Now, THAT is an idea!
