Hey, at least we get teasers over here. I'm a GM for the Dr Who RPG and the agreement the BBC have with Cubicle 7 means there's next to nothing official announced. Ever.

Speculation about what the teasers mean is all part of the fun!

I'm pretty new here myself, but I've noticed that getting excited over a "teaser" is sort of part of the fun. People like to have fun speculating, conversing, and joking around about what a teaser might be.

Oh, asbolutely agreed, speculation is always part of the fun. I run plasticrypt, and it's 99% of the discussions there (at least previously), so no offense - just wanted to know if I was missing anything. I feel so new that I'm not sure what to speculate on this set, so for the speculation for this it is as foreign as speculating on what minis would come out of a 4e (D&D) miniatures set.

I'm still not even really sure what TLX is. I gather it's terrainlinx, and it's something you build or buy... yeh.

Yeah, my brain put in Necromunda as well, but let us be honest Platform Command is Necromunda terain.

TLX is the line of products produced within a specific design paradigm that makes it completely modular and interchangeable. In short, it is nothing less than spectacular and, in my opinion, has completely revolutionized the cardstock terrain industry.

and one reason I would like to see some more of it. It can be used on top of TLX with out any problems. Just needs new textures, like for inside a Titan loading bay.

In each of the TLX-compatible sets (they each have the word "terrainlinx" on their image in the WWG store), there are templates for the tabs so you make as many as you need. If you are careful when you cut out your floor tiles, you can use the piece from between two adjacent tiles for tabs. Usually, I use my scrap pieces of foamcore to make extra tabs; you can never have too many!

Just a little tip I do, when printing the templates, use cheap paper and print in draft / non-high quality, the templates never get seen so no need in wasting card or ink.

I like printing on cardstock as it makes the tile a bit thicker.

Me too. Although I do print them on draft mode.

Edit: Forgot what this thread was actually about till now, and this looks AWESOME! My problem is not having enough time to build, so this should totally help with that. I'm hoping we'll see much more of this in the future!

I should have much better teasers ready for you next week. Had to do some engineering which took me away from hardcore texture work momentarily. Its going pretty good though and I can't wait to share.

No tiles on these ones, just static, quick-build structures. Modular tiles, walls and bits will come with the eventual TerrainlinX editions.

I play only RPGs myself and have great plans for this set. In particular, there's a number of street encounters in a fantasy/steampunk city where Necroblocks will provide some much desired atmosphere.
