I'm totally pumped for this set, and can't wait for it to release. Faster builds is something I REALLY need! I'm just going to need to find a workaround for the ground tiles, but that won't be hard

I'm guessing it's different in that it won't have any posts and stuff that makes putting it together time consuming.

It will be the same as old Mayhem in that it is going to be Hollywood flat style, in other words no interior and box build style based on Denny's comments. It will be different in that the gang as incorporated the modular add on philosophy of TLX in things like removable Buttress and Balconies.

Finally it will be totally new in that is will unveil a new store flat method for box builds.

When I first saw ths i was kind of EH, it is very GW, but the more pictures have come out, and the more description I hear, I am getting into it.

I know after the above game I was really wanting a "future" version of the flats as it required a LOT of work trying to make A city out of completly Titan and the TLX mayhem, why i grabbed the the Bits o Mayhem flats they were needed to drop a few builds quickly on the table.... this would work quit well for Nar Shaddaa so I am liking, it though won't work too well for my other want for a city...
Courscant sections of the city it may work for or maybe not as well. A llittle too dark and gothic for the upper shinny levels of that city but lower older levels could work quit nicely for.

It looks superb in its own right, but also looks as if it would be right at home in 40k or Malifaux.

I am not sure how practical a 16 storey tower is, but I want to build one. And then put minis on it and take photos

16 stories is surprisingly functional

Yeah, making it structurally supportive while being flat-fold was the real trick. That and ensuring that you can still create a static box build that doesn't fold flat for those who prefer that method. And adding in little bits of modularity was important too, while at the same time keeping things really simple.

I'm still working on instructions at the moment so you'll have to be a bit patient with me. I also have a few more promos to work through to show various features. Getting closer though

I'll be looking forward to more promo pics. Hopefully they won't be at an angle ... I'm still getting use to my new trifocal glasses ... easier to look at pics straight.

I don't envy you having to write instructions. Thinking of that, I need to get a small laptop so I don't have to go back and forth to the computer station and the modeling table to read the instructions while building things. It takes too much ink to print the instructions out.

Some more love for Necroblock. This time featuring the gargoyle perches, which you can place minis on for high-stakes cliff hangers!

Also good for snipers and brooding moodily in cape and cowl.

I am so building a Hive city out of this set. Just going to have find some properly gothic roads. Anyone have any suggestion or kitbash ideas?

Yes the Chronometer is coming very soon! Just have to wrap up a couple instruction pages and we'll be good to go.

Just downloaded this and...wow. The textures on these files are ridiculously awesome.

I know that the TLX version won't be ready for quite some time, but after purchasing the swift scenics version, the TLX will be a must-have.

lol I know they're really simple to cut out overall, but no cutting files? I can't cut a straight line even if it means my life....

EDIT: I'm guessing by the registration marks that cutfiles were intended for this set... were they omitted?
