Just out or curiosity, after seeing a few of these sets come out, is there any thought to a "stackable" or some type vertical tracker for multiple conditions? I see this being especially helpful if multiple units in a close area each have one or more conditions.

I can already see teh reaction when I pull out the counter to start tracking the hits from my Tryanid assult broods. It will be so much more fun than a tally sheet.

Any chance that we'll see a release of the kitbashed vehicles? I really like the looks of them. Oh, the rest of it looks great too, of course

I'll add my applause for the vehicles. If you have the time & inclination to remake them, I'd buy them. The Battle Packs look great, and if I ever get involved in a gaming group I'll be snapping them up - but I'm in man-love with those retextured vehicles & I'd buy them just to build

A few things...

First this set is brilliant! I downloaded it last night and I printed up a bunch of counters for some 40k games today. I'm looking forward to people commenting on them, I'll direct them here for sure.

The vehicle counters cutfile cuts off the top corner of one of the weapon destroyed counters. Not a big deal, but you probably want to correct that.

Would have been nice to see 5 objectives since that's the max number in a 40k game (small gripe I know, I'll likely edit that file so it not only has 5 objectives but has more pinned and fired markers and less of the others since those are for other games).

Got a chuckle over all the overwatch markers, it took me back to my old 2nd edition days....

Overall I love this set. Seeing that GW charges $17US for their set (of which I own and hate) and it's large clear green plastic making finding markers very difficult and putting them down obnoxious, I really think this set is an amazing price. The fact that all I need to do now when I inevitably lose some markers is print up another set is just money in the bank.....

Such a shame, I like the shape and design of the vehicles, but not so much the artwork (not a 40K player) but I am ALWAYS on the look out for nice miniatures scale sci-fi vehicles.

I just realized the only thing missing from the Battlepacks is a storage box solution. I am thinking about a solution to this.

It will need to be pretty ridged, so either foamcore sides or lots of internal dividers, to be able to survive near constant transport.

Ability to either label or be made with appropriate WWG texture. I hope Necroblock drops soon as I will need that for teh textures.

Anyone have any design ideas?

Aren't the vehicles all from PC:Battleground?

Yes and no. These are the same vehicles but they were modified graphically with additional armour plating, various skull and wing motifs to make them more gothic-y and the colour was toned down considerably to give them a more generic, military look.

You can find simple plastic boxes with ALOT of divided spaces in it. You can usually find these in the craft or office supply section...

Yeah, but they just don't look as darn good as WWG textures.

Markers were a big hit last night at our weekly 40k game night. As soon as RIptitde gets the photo's online, I'll be posting to the forum.
