How about giving the clock working arms so it can be used as a turn counter?

Capital idea! I've tried to do something like that in the past, but I never could engineer a set of hands that would only turn when I wanted them to turn. I suppose the WWG crew are just the chaps to pull it off.

The simple solution is let the hands be fixed and rotate the clock face.

Plus there's something about having the clock in the scene show the right time (or close enough to). It only takes one little touch to transform a scene, making the whole setting that much more real on the table. 8)

Those minor realism's can really bring people into a scene. Good point.

I haven't made a general announcement officially yet but we're up to our ears in the website reboot at the moment. The Chronometer will be available on the fresh, shinny, new storefront when we launch.

At least that should give me a little time before I have to buy the new printer. Grandmother's ( only one in the family still with internet) system not really up to handling my hobby. :)

This is very, VERY cool indeed, and would work perfectly even in a Malifaux setting.

And for dice throwing... is there a catapult perhaps upcoming? A dice-flinging catapult... Mmm...

(yes, it's nonsensical, and semi-useless, but the concept appeals to me)

We've had that for nearly seven years:

...but that digresses severely from the topic at hand.

If one would buy the micro-release (without the main set) would one be able to create the tower?

Author:  Gamesmith Denny [ 05-09-2011, 09:41 AM ]
Post subject:

Nope. Well you can create the dicetower of course but you can't turn the dice tower into a NECROBLOCK tower, since the textures are pretty specific to the clockwork theme and it doesn't build in quite the same way.

Let's give Chronometer a hug, poor thing. It must feel all lonely, with everyone crowding around that big Terraclips guy over there...

Eh I am not that interested in Terrain Clips, I might get the sewers... I want more Sci-Fi :)

On a Completly random side note, I have a Bunch of Necro and Coroporate built that I haven't used for anything, and I had a silly Silly idea... :o I might set them all up this weekend just to see how big a city I can make... (oh drat I may need some roads to do this right...)
