I am more interested in Space Station goodies than anything else, so... A huge dockingbay/ drydock - one that can take the entirety of the Good Ship First Light, allow her to land and refit her. Overhead crane. Raised control room for the crane, and for supervising the docking bay. Control room that mounts on the overhead crane. Cargo bay/ Warehousing, shelves and shelces of crates, boxes, etc. Transparencies used to make grid catwalks. Docking clamp that sets into the airlock and/or cargo bay of the First Light. Transparencies to create large column things that supposedly have something to do with power generation. (Star Trek reference.) Designed to enclose a standard glow stick. *EDIT* The sad thing is I first mentioned this as a joke, and now have a picture of it in my mind... added glow stick, two layers of transparency - outer one clear, inner one concealing glowstick... Freestanding control stations ala Space: 1999. Enough parts to make a station five miles long in scale, representing two million, five hundred thousand tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night... Okay, now I am getting silly... Wow, I just did the math on that. For perspective, a 1" = 5' scale model of a 5' mile long station .... is 440 feet, or longer than a football field (assuming my math is correct). I think my wife would put her foot down at that. |

After making two reactors, and getting the little buggers together, i have to kind of admit i like the sticking up engine mounts. At first i was kind of Eh on them, but i am doing as a test before i design my own plans, the Tallon Config, and it looks kind of cool, almost like fins off the back. I like them now. |

I thought of something else while I was working on the model last night. Passenger staterooms, something a little more upscale than the crew quarters. Could also be used for hotel rooms if you're kitbashing a space station. Becky |

Some rusty panels for derelict ships. (Or decrepit old Freighters... I wonder if anyone would pick up on it if I made one with a captain named Jack Burton...) The Auld Grump |

Bigger rooms would be cool. The little rooms are pretty tight for wargaming. |
