Please keep us posted how the two sets fit together. The only thing keeping me from Corp right now is my lack of street tiles.

I am not even using a "real street tile" for what I wanted to build there are no "streets" it is kind of a huge multi level conglmerate of stuff, with "flying cars" being the primary mode of transport and well just walking being the other. So I am using the Concret floors from Mayhem construction as the "street tiles".

It has a good look for what i want.

More good news, I basically signed off on this today. It's officially in the chute.

I'm not going totally away, but the next little while may be shaky for me. Big, huge life changes in the works.

I have no further sets planned at this time, so please don't ask what comes next because right now it's nothing.

I understand the job issue, I am working a $10/hr job which should have been $15/hr entry level with a raise after 90 days to a much higher rate. Oh well we take what we find at this particular time. I will keep good thoughts for you Sir. -D²

I do have one question, half tongue in cheek:
Is the setting based, in any way, on the OLD computer game 'Mines of Titan'?

(I played that game a lot, back in 1989 or so, on the Commodore 64....)

As a coincidence, I recently ran into a projectionist I used to know who worked at the Nickelodeon in Portland, these days he's a Unitarian minister (Rvd. K. Petrie), so there is life, after the booth. (I worked with him about the time when Mines of Titan was new....)

I have never heard of that game before now, Grump. And I certainly played me some commodore games.

It was not bad at all, and the general designs of the maps actually do have a certain similarity to your designs, but in loverly shades of monotonous greys. Westwood also did the Battletech game on the C=64, and a fantasy game titled Legacy of the Ancients. (All fondly remembered.)

Basic premise is being a detective in the mining colony on Titan. Very much old school CRPG, but well done.

Mostly at finding the flaws in the AI, iirc.

I used to play this really old sci fi game with a guy who shot laser bullets at stuff, I think it was called Xargon, and you had to watch a bit of the demo before playing each time to get ammunition. Good fun.

C=64 FOREVER!

One of our Devs is a big C-64 guy, he has a collection of them at home and can't throw them away. -D²

Glad there will be a box for this one, but it's too bad there won't be double height goodies. Oh well, next set I suppose

In my opinion double height walls, posts and big doors are indispensible for 28mm games. For exemple:

-Warhammer 40k -> Terminator and Dreadnought
-Infinity the Game -> DCD and TAG

I'm happy with the storage box.

I mostly play RPGs, but see the value of them for wargames, hopefully we'll at least get some kitbashes of them.

I am wondering how many will be using them (double high etc) than not. I don't think they will really be missed.

As a newbie here, I have no idea of the timeframe between the designer signing off on it and it being for sale on the website.

Anybody got a rough guide-line timeframe?

IE, should I be checking this thread daily, or should I relax for a month
