Hi All, I'm new to this place, and the products look great. However, what is the preferable set for me to buy? Chunky dungeons or Gothic Realms? What are the advantages/disadvantges of each? The only issue I can see is the compatability issue with Chunky D. and others, like Cave works. What do you suggest? Thanks, |

While I don't own Gothic Realms I do own Chunkey Dungeons and I am very happy with it. Id say the feature I like best is the masterboard. Your dungeon will not move!Trust me on this one. I dropped mine awhile back an not one piece moved. that masterboard saved me lot of heartache. |

Ah don't bother with any of the Fantasy stuff... BUY the SCI-FI!!!! nothing to see here, ignore the raving man in the corner, move along. |

It depends on what you are going to use it for. Chunky takes up a lot of tabletop real estate, so it could get cumbersome for certain rpg sessions. I would recommend Gothic Realms for something like that, although the aestethic is darker than Chunky. As far as a Masterboard, you can use the technique with every set but the walls would be free standing. I velcroed all my pieces for my Masterboard and I'm very happy with the result. Caveworks is a nice buy if you need...caves. ![]() With GR and Caveworks you can probably tackle any dungeon layout. |

Ye cads! I forgot to mention the sewers? The place where last Thursday my vampire took on James' rat ogre in hand to hand and gave him his own spleen on a platter? I am shamed. The Auld Grump, who's Mordheim Vampire has been acknowledged as one of the good guys... |

Great answers, all. Thanks! ![]() I think , however, one of my improperly worded thoughts in my initial question would be better put this way: Is WW moving towards making everything "chunky", or standard 1"? What is the current trend toward? |
