Nerdfest 3!!!!!!!!!!!

so nerdfest 3 was last night. and it was awesome! we played with my new warehouse build. everyone loved the model and i was pretty happy with it myself.

we played a scenario where there was a shipment of gold sent to the warehouse to be delivered to the local bank. SWAT team members were positioned on the roof and inside to act as neutral guards. my friend Adam and I were the villians who were trying to steal the gold and bring it back to either of our bases. the team that stole, or protected (heroes) the most crates out of 3....would get an extra figure for the next game.

pretty cool...after all, villians have to have money to fund their evil scheme right?

Looks like fun. The warehouse looks pretty good... though the warping around the delivery bays seems really bad. That it probably partially due to you cutting out the doors ,which is a good idea, but does remove stability. Did you remember to reinforce the walls with cereal box or crackers box card? It really helped on my build, and I also cut one door out...

Well it wasn't in the instructions, but there have been other discussions on this forum about reinforcing those long walls. Since you are posting a lot, I assumed you had read them. My apolgies.

Heh, that's cool. It still looks good.

Here are a couple of pics on my warehouse, a 2x1 tile size (half the size of yours). I messed up on the roof... need to redo that at some point, but here are a couple of pics that CCotD took the first time we met. All walls are supported with card from things like Townhouse crackers, Lego sets, etc.

Anyway, not trying to steal the thunder from your post... your terrain does look great
