I've setup a large board for ATZ before but I did not take any pictures.
One thing that I have learned between ATZ and Dead Walk Again is that 'old school' guys that are used to the 'I go you go' system pick up on the DWA faster and it makes running a large game easier.
Maybe if everybody knew how to play ATZ it would not be so bad.

Perhaps The Walking Dead has influenced my view, but I can just see hordes of zombies stumbling out of those trees heading for some brain munchies in town.

As you can see here in the last photo of the night..
Our survivors managed to escape the house with a mob chasing them. Out of 5 survivors, only 2 and a found civilian woman and child managed to survive and were running for their lives.

Man, that's a LOT of zombies in that photo!

You know, I have been wanting to set up a 6x4 urban table for my 40k games, and this is just inspirational. Just a few more purchases and Ill have everything I need for it.

This is one of a few 6'x4' boards that I have done.
Using the paper terrain just makes more since for me. I don't have huge amount of storage space so all of this stores away very neatly.

One of the funny things that a guy said was: "That's a lot of ink on that board!"

But all the "old timers" that have been gaming for many many years just can't believe how good it looks. They all just go "I can't believe that's all paper!"
