Anyone still playing Wormhole? After at least 4 years of owning the original PDFs, I have started to build the models. I have been going a week, so have a way to go. So far I have 12 skirmish fighters, 12 missile fighters and 6 particlebow frigates on my shelves. I anticipate it'll be a month or so before I am ready to try a game. I am keen to let my wargaming group have a go once I am familiar with the rules. This part of the forum is a little dead though, so maybe I'll be the last Wormhole gamer on the planet lol. |

I have never convinced my group to try it out, but I guess that I have never built them and then presented the idea. I should do that at some point... I would love to see some occasional progress pics if you are willing. |

I'll take some pix this weekend Talae, although compared to some of the terrain I have built, they won't be that impressive lol. I have a plan to build Uncharted Space as a set of interlocking tiles (using the KaneLinx method) rather than on 4 huge sheets. That might be worth showing progress on. At the moment, I only wargame 4 times a year (weekly sessions got canned due to work schedule pressures), for 3 full days each time though. My plan is to introduce Wormhole as a short (2 hour max), post pub event at the next w/e in June. If that is successful, I will plan for a full on multiplayer, multiforce scenario at the Sept w/e, taking considerably longer. |
