Been trying out the game today, and a couple of questions came up. I'll post them separately so people can see what it's about in the title. =) Missile Salvos from Hammerhead Cruisers: 1. Am I correct in thinking that when the Special Order to fire the missiles is given, the missile appears in the "Missile Salvo" box on the base? Or does it appear in front of the ship? 2a. If the answer to 1. is "inside the box", then since the salvo has a higher INT than the cruiser, does the missile salvo move with the cruiser on the cruiser's move, then move 10" from the box on the base during the missile's move? 2b. If the answer to 1. is "in front of the ship", then does this mean that the Hammerhead cannot move this turn (since it can't get past the missiles)? 3. Does the missile damage resolve immediately upon collision (i.e. during the move phase)? 4. Can you leave an unfired missile in the bay from turn to turn? 5. If yes, can you load multiple shots into the bay? 6. If a missile hits a vessel and the vessel is destroyed, how big is the explosion? Because shooting a missile creates a capital ship sized expolsion, and it hardly seems likely that a missile that hit a fighter would have its explosion contained... |

When you launch missiles, you take the missile chit from the "missile salvo" box and place them on the game mat, in contact with the hammerhead cruiser base, within the front firing arc, facing the same direction as the hammerhead. -Steve |
