Post subject: | CLARIFICATION: Squadron Repairs |
A Convoy Carrier issues repair orders to its four repair bays. Those repair bays are now "ready" to repair squadrons that turn. During the movement part of that same turn, squadrons move out from the bays, or move into the Carrier (from any direction) and are placed in the bays. When you reach the Cleanup stage of the turn, any squadron that is in a bay (with a repair order) at that time (didn't have to be there at the start of the turn) receives a repair. The Convoy Carrier's OWN repair order is separate and independant from the repairs in the bays, though it remains the only vessel that can issue itself a repair order and still act normally throughout the turn. Oh, and once again...the Convoy Carrier is 35 points. 40 is a typo we will be fixing. |

I also had it right ... so, I'm curious ... Andorax's clarification seems to be indicated in the rules already, particularly in the example where the Separatist (?) player gives a repair order just in case. There, we can see that the repair orders can be given in the event that the future will provide something to repair. What was it in the rules that seemed to indicate that you couldn't play it the way Andorax has described? |
