I noticed that in the promo shots the hammer head uses what looks like the display base rather than the perm one, has anyone tried this and if so how did it work out? I used the perm stand for my builds but honestly hate the way the stand angles up like it dose, it wouldn't bother me other than the fact that none of the others do and it leaves the ships looking like it dosen't fit with the rest of the fleet (ok so I am picky so what lol) Richard Edit: Wanted to add that I glue the stands to the data cuby to add stability and I think not being able to do the same for my HH may be what bugs me about it... |

I cut one out and built it, just because it was on the same page as the "regular" base. It was OK, but I have to admit, I really dislike the PDF layout for it; I would have rather had it on its own page, and had two "regular" bases on the sheet, as I don't plan on using any more of them, and it's basically just a waste of ink that you can't really "not print" (unlike most of the optional print stuff that you can either not print the page, or they are mostly just "whitespace". |
