I recently purchased the Uncharted Space pack but I'd like to put 1.5" hexes on the clear space tiles. Does anyone know any easy way to do this? I'd like the hexes to be similar to the 1" hex version in the sense that the hexes are white, but unobtrusive. I've been playing around with photoshop hex patterns but it's been rather frustrating as I can't seem to work out how to get a white hex grid overlay. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

You can create a transparent layer with your hex grid. Keep separate layers and you can make hex overlays of any size you like. If you don't want the grid to be bright white, reduce opacity on the grid layer. |

Thanks, but can you tell me how I could do that? I have a hex pattern that I can use but unfortunately it is a single layer, black lines on white background. I need white hex lines on a transparent background to work on the space mat. |

select all, invert colors (not sure where that command is in the newer PS - I have version 7 and the command is Ctrl+I), then use the magic wand tool to just select the white grid. Copy it & paste into a new layer. Then hide or delete the original layer to make sure that your white grid copied correctly. |

Thanks, I think I've got the hang of it now. Does anyone have a document outlining the print or page order of Uncharted Space? In other words, where does each page go in the pattern? I would'v expected that in the pack but I can't seem to see one. |

How did it go? I'd love a 1.5" hex version; that adds up very close to a 42x30 size suitable for Star Fleet Battles and other space games. I'd love to see a kitbash of this appear (or try it myself in GIMP if I can figure out how). |
